Matthew is a Colorado native and grew up in the Littleton area as the second oldest in a family of eight children. He committed his life to Christ at a young age and grew up knowing and loving the truth of God’s Word as it was daily taught in the home. For much of his childhood and high-school years, Matthew and his siblings studied classical music and participated in various orchestral and musical groups in the Denver area. Matthew pursued a business degree in college, completing much of his undergraduate studies at Red Rocks Community college before graduating from Thomas Edison State College in New Jersey.

Shortly after graduating from college, Matthew married his wife, Christy and they were blessed with their first child a year later. They now have five children and live in the West Littleton area. Over the years, Matthew and Christy have seen God expanding their love for Christ and His church and they want to see the Gospel transforming their home and spreading beyond their neighborhood into all nations of the world. Matthew was installed as an elder at Redeemer Community Church on October 17, 2021.
